I was very disappointed with this restaurant. The pricing is extremely inflated and, surprisingly, even higher than many mid-range Japanese restaurants in Manhattan. Unfortunately, the quality of the food does not justify the cost. The sashimi was fairly average and lacked the freshness and premium quality you would expect at this price point. The sweet shrimp was unbelievably small—almost too tiny to notice. The sushi rolls were also very ordinary, with nothing memorable about their flavor or presentation. Overall, this restaurant charges premium prices for mediocre food. There are far better Japanese restaurants offering higher quality and better value for the money.

Tried takeout from here for the first time and we’re unfortunately disappointed. Some creative and tasty rolls (I particularly liked the No Name Roll) but multiple pieces of other rolls had visibly quite brown avocado. Concern over freshness at a sushi restaurant was hard to overcome. We also ordered two house salads, where the website shows a bright orange ginger dressing, and received something closer to ranch. With so many great sushi places in the area, I don’t think we’ll return.

To be completely honest honest I've had a lot of sushi in lifespan and can definitely say this place may be overrated but it may have been just one roll that was bad . Don't recommend the crazy monkey i believe it's called it's bland and tasteless even with eel sauce or soy sauce . Besides that great environment . Waitress was new she did her best but couldn't recommend nor had any input on the menu . Would definitely say it's a lil hype don't get disappointed...

Fantastic sushi! All the fish utilized tasted great. The tuna in particular was very delicious. It melted in my mouth and I found that I did not need to bathe it in soy sauce to enjoy it. The staff were friendly and very polite. Maggie was an amazing waitress and did a great job making sure I had everything I needed. Definitely recommend this place!

Ask for the specials and check out their deals on dinner. 3 well sized rolls for 36 is a good deal. We went for the volcano drink to celebrate and had a great time. MP is always changing so it's good to ask. I recommend the Kani Su it's a great starter
